We also prepare the narratives and detailed workpapers to help the external auditor understand the story for each process and control they are auditing.
Our Process
- Auditor Selection & Scoping: If you haven't chosen a firm, we help you select an auditor that fits your industry and scale. We then review their "Request List" to ensure the scope is fair and accurate in aligning with your controls.
- Evidence "Gatekeeping": We review every screenshot, log, and document before it reaches the external auditor to ensure it meets the control requirements and doesn't inadvertently reveal out-of-scope issues, or potential exceptions.
- Meeting Facilitation: Where applicable, we lead the walkthrough meetings with the external auditor, ensuring the conversation stays focused to the audit questions asked.
- Issue Remediation: If an external auditor identifies a potential "finding" or exception, we work quickly to provide clarifying evidence, other mitigating controls or help you draft a management response that explains the steps you've taken to fix it.
